Terms of use
These terms apply to this website. They are not the contract for an engineering seat, a managed team, or an automation project. Those engagements are agreed in writing, separately, with NorthAlgo Oy.
1. The site
northalgo.com is published by NorthAlgo Oy, business ID (Y-tunnus) 3448558-7, visiting address Konttisatamankatu 2 F 7, 00540 Helsinki, Finland.
The site describes how we work: dedicated senior engineers under a Finnish contract, managed delivery, and process-scoped AI and automation. It is information, not a binding offer at a published price.
2. Enquiries are not a contract
The assignment form sends your email and whatever you typed to Ryan Ford. Submitting it is a request for a reply, usually a seat plan, a monthly number, and a start date. It does not book a call, create a reserved seat, or form a contract.
A contract exists only when both parties have signed (or otherwise accepted in writing) a separate agreement. Until then, either of us can stop the conversation.
3. What we do not promise on this page
- We do not publish a rate table. A number without the shape of the work is not a quote you can hold us to from the homepage.
- Finnish salary and contribution figures on the site are public-market context for a local hire. They are not NorthAlgo’s price.
- The monthly NorthAlgo seat does not include equipment or holiday bonus. On the Finnish-hire comparison those items sit on top of published salary; they are extra there, and they are not included here.
- Partner names (Verad, VoodooSoft, Vireum) are partners we work alongside. They are not client testimonials, and VoodooSoft is a related company.
- We do not guarantee that a particular engineer is available, or that a start date in a first reply will survive a later change in the brief.
- Replacement if the fit is wrong is governed by the written agreement. This page does not set notice, overlap, or charge for a rematch.
- Homepage talent cards are illustrative placeholders. They show initials, a role family, a stack, and an outcome pattern. They are not live candidate CVs, they do not include photographs, they do not identify a person, and they are not an offer of a named engineer.
4. Seat flexibility described on this site
Where this site describes commercial flexibility for an embedded seat, it means flexible seats with 30-day notice, and not a twelve-month commitment:
- No minimum term
- 30-day notice per seat
- Rates may be held for up to 12 months from each person’s start date, for price certainty (an optional rate hold, not a commitment to keep the seat for twelve months)
The signed agreement is the contract. If it differs from this page, the agreement wins.
5. Your use of the site
You may browse, link to, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not scrape the site in a way that overloads it, submit the form with false contact details, or use the site to send unlawful content.
All trademarks, the NorthAlgo name, and the site design belong to NorthAlgo Oy or their respective owners. Partner logos are used to identify those partners, not to claim endorsement beyond the relationship described on the homepage.
6. Accuracy
We try to keep the site accurate. It can still be out of date. If something matters to a purchase, wait for the written reply or the contract. The site is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions made solely on marketing copy, except where Finnish mandatory law says otherwise.
7. Personal data
How we handle personal data submitted through this site is explained in the privacy notice.
8. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Courts of Helsinki have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that would apply if you were contracting as a consumer (this site is written for professional buyers).
