# NorthAlgo

> NorthAlgo Oy is a global software outsourcing and consulting company. Headquarters and contracting entity: Helsinki, Finland (Finnish limited company / osakeyhtiö). Dedicated senior engineers, managed teams, managed delivery, and process-scoped AI and automation. Engineers are engaged through NorthAlgo Oy and are dedicated to one client each, primarily working from the Philippines.

NorthAlgo is not a placement or recruiting agency. Clients do not hire engineers onto their own payroll through this site. NorthAlgo holds the Finnish commercial contract and the ongoing relationship; the client directs day-to-day work.

English is the primary language of delivery and of the first reply. Finnish and other European language support is available on request. We do not claim native fluency in every European language.

- [Managed teams](https://northalgo.com/#offers): a dedicated NorthAlgo team built around a tech lead. NorthAlgo carries engineering leadership; the client keeps product and roadmap.
- [Managed delivery](https://northalgo.com/#offers): outsourcing and consulting for an agreed outcome, not headcount. NorthAlgo owns delivery end to end.
- [AI and automation](https://northalgo.com/#ai): one manual process at a time, scoped against a number agreed before work starts. Usually a second engagement, once engineers already know the systems.

Most engagements start with a seat plan. Describe the gap; the founder replies with roles, a monthly euro number, and a start date.

## Commercial terms

- No recruiting fee, no setup fee
- No minimum term
- Flexible seats with 30-day notice per seat
- Rates may be held for up to 12 months from each person's start date, for price certainty. That is an optional rate hold, not a twelve-month commitment
- Invoiced in euros under Finnish law
- Equipment, workspace, and holiday bonus are not included in the monthly seat
- If the fit is wrong, replacement is handled in the written agreement

## Constraints (honest)

- Delivery geography is primarily the Philippines, which has no EU adequacy decision. NorthAlgo Oy holds the processing agreement. Standard Contractual Clauses and a transfer impact assessment cover the transfer. Where possible, developers work inside the client's EU environment against masked or synthetic data.
- Manila is five to six hours ahead of Helsinki. The working window is agreed in writing. NorthAlgo shifts the delivery day rather than claiming the offset is not an issue.
- If a contract requires every person touching the code to be EU-based, NorthAlgo is the wrong supplier.
- Named clients stay unpublished until they put permission in writing. [Partners](https://northalgo.com/#partners) (Verad, VoodooSoft, Vireum) are partners, not client case studies. VoodooSoft is a related party (same CEO and Helsinki visiting address as NorthAlgo).
- This site does not publish live CVs, named engineer profiles, or a headcount.
- No third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording on this site.
